A comprehensive national feature highlighting the recognition of Telangana’s prominent spiritual scholar, Vidwan Dr. Kocharla Suresh Kumar, at the Constitution Club of India for his distinguished contributions to Sri Vidya Maha Mantra Shastram and ancient Indian spiritual traditions.

In a significant celebration of India’s timeless intellectual and spiritual heritage, the national capital recently witnessed the felicitation of Vidwan Dr. Kocharla Suresh Kumar. At a prestigious national investiture ceremony held at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi, the renowned spiritual scholar from Kothagudem, Telangana, was officially honoured with the Bharat Book of World Records Award for his achievement titled “Outstanding Proficiency in Sri Vidya Maha Mantra Shastram.” The event was attended by distinguished guests, cultural leaders, scholars, and invited dignitaries, further highlighting the significance of the occasion.

Hailing from the spiritually vibrant Bhadradri Kothagudem District of Telangana, Vidwan Dr. Kocharla Suresh Kumar—reverently known as Guruvu Garu—has earned recognition for his contributions to contemporary spiritual leadership. Prior to this achievement, Dr. Suresh Kumar had been conferred an Honorary Doctorate in recognition of his distinguished services and contributions to spiritual and traditional knowledge. This latest recognition from the academic council of the Bharat Book of World Records acknowledges his dedicated efforts in preserving and promoting India’s ancient spiritual traditions.

Dr. Suresh Kumar received Poorna Deeksha in Sri Vidya Maha Mantra Shastram from Sri Nori Subrahmanya Sastry Guruvu Garu in the sacred Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya Guru Parampara. Following this revered lineage, he has dedicated more than twenty-four years of continuous and selfless service to the preservation, teaching, and propagation of Sri Vidya Maha Mantra Shastram, while contributing to the spiritual upliftment of society.

His expertise also extends to Traditional Vaasthu Shastra, Jyotisha (Astrology), Gavvala Shastra, Indian Classical Music, and Ayurvedic Herbal Research (Moolika Vaidyam). Through decades of study, practice, and teaching, he has devoted his life to preserving, promoting, and applying India’s traditional knowledge systems.

As the founder of Srividyapeetham in Kothagudem, he has established an institution dedicated to preserving and systematically imparting the sacred knowledge of Sri Vidya Maha Mantra Shastram. Throughout his journey, he has organized numerous cultural, religious, and spiritual awareness programmes aimed at promoting India’s traditional values and spiritual heritage.

His guidance in Sri Vidya Upasana has inspired many dedicated disciples, demonstrating how ancient spiritual traditions and sacred scriptures continue to offer meaningful guidance for contemporary life. Another important dimension of his work is his continued research into indigenous herbal medicine and traditional Ayurvedic knowledge. Over the years, he has contributed to preserving traditional herbal practices while promoting a holistic approach to health and well-being.
